Supporting South London business growth through creative-led innovation
About the vouchers
The Innovation Vouchers are designed to support the development of new ideas, initiatives, products or services, and help you or your business develop in new creative ways.
The vouchers include an average of ten days of consultancy and collaboration time with an academic, researcher or technician at UAL. They can also be used to cover material costs and access to facilities worth between £3,000 and £5,000.

- spatial, interior and furniture design
- community-led practice, social justice, and co-design strategies
- circular economies and environmental sustainability
- machine learning, AI and robotics
- interaction and interface design
- immersive technologies (AR/VR)
- web platforms, e-commerce and web3
Access creative, textile, digital & sustainability expertise
University of Arts, London (UAL) – Chelsea, Camberwell, and Wimbledon Colleges of Arts are offering South London-based creators and enterprises opportunities to collaborate with academics.
Who can apply?
This support programme is relevant for all, from registered sole traders, start-ups and established businesses of any size to social enterprises and charities.
It is exclusive to those based in the South London boroughs of Croydon, Kingston, Merton, Richmond, Sutton, Southwark, Lambeth and Wandsworth.
We are particularly keen to collaborate with businesses with diverse leadership to ensure that our innovation partnerships in South London are reflective of the region’s diverse communities.
This project is funded by the UK government through the UK Shared Prosperity Fund.
The UK Shared Prosperity Fund is a central pillar of the UK government’s Levelling Up agenda and provides £2.6 billion of funding for local investment by March 2025. The Fund aims to improve pride in place and increase life chances across the UK investing in communities and place, supporting local business, people and skills.
