Opened in 2023, Oru Sutton is a landmark workspace, leisure and destination space in the heart of Sutton High Street that creates a nurturing environment for people to connect and thrive in their work and personal lives.
Oru Space is a purpose-led organisation that operates seamlessly across workspaces, award-winning hospitality and well-being to provide a platform for independent businesses from Sutton and surrounding areas.
Through Oru’s thoughtful curation of workshops, skillshare events and activities we hope to engage a mix of students, local entrepreneurs and socially conscious SMEs looking to take the next step on their journey and grow.
Facilities & services available
Launching 1 September 2023
- Workspace: Will include 300 hotdesks and fixed desks, 40 private offices and studios. In addition, meeting rooms, private breakout areas and high-speed wi-fi are all available.
- Wellbeing: Two studios, open to the public and Oru Sutton members, will offer yoga, pilates and meditation classes
- Cafe: A high-quality offering of Sri Lankan-influenced food. Mains, sandwiches, salads, freshly baked cakes, bread and in-house goods. Winning a Good Food Award 2023.
- Event space: The large event space has a high-quality sound, lighting and tech set-up and hosts a range of events from workshops to panel discussions and music events.
- Rooftop terraces: The roof spaces will provide a fantastic amenity space for workers and members of the public. There will be space for both rooftop yoga classes, as well as large hospitality areas for a variety of events and a regular bar service.
