13:00 - 16:00 | 20 March 2025 | FUSEBOX, Thames Side #2, Kingston upon Thames, KT1 1TF

SWL Research Cafe - Qualitative and Quantitative Evaluation

Join this session to understand how to design an evaluation that effectively demonstrates impact and aligns with funder priorities.

This session builds on the previous Evaluation Network Cafés as well as the one on Bid Writing. It will help you design your evaluations with funder priorities in mind, to ultimately communicate impact effectively. It is suitable for beginners or those looking to refine their evaluation skills.

We will guide you through setting clear outcomes, measuring impact, and demonstrating value for money. We will also discuss key challenges, go through real-world examples, and engage in interactive discussions to help you refine your approach.

Our SWL Evaluation Ambassadors will also be present to support the session, providing attendees with an opportunity to connect with them for future guidance and signposting on evaluation.

About South West London Research Support Network

The South West London (SWL) Research Support Network, established by the NHS South West London Integrated Care System, is a collaborative initiative to empower local communities and voluntary organisations to conduct their own research.

Through a series of relaxed network meetings, members can engage in mutual learning opportunities with a diverse group of researchers and community members. This informal setting encourages open dialogue and the sharing of ideas, making it easier to change insights into various research methodologies and best practices.

In addition to exchanging knowledge with experienced community members and researchers, members will also have the chance to network with peers, which can lead to the formation of collaborative relationships and partnerships, that leverage the strengths and expertise of all involved.
