Bringing together an intelligent technology infrastructure blending 5G, multi-edge computing, WiFi-6, and Internet of Things, this unique facility is a test bed for tech startups, researchers, students, and innovators to test and pilot solutions that enhance patient choice and experience, making healthcare more personalised. The facility is a collaboration between LSBU, Hitachi, Verizon. In this Demo, we would like to show how UBT’s microwave imaging meets existing needs for safer imaging techniques while providing patented, novel, cost-effective, and accurate alternatives to current devices. UBT Srl is collaborating with London South Bank University School of Engineering with 2 Matched Funded Studentship PhD (one ongoing) + 1 Matched Funded Post-PhD fellowship, jointly awarded EU projects, one microwave imaging device installed at Southwark Campus in October 2019 and one microwave imaging device installed at Innovation Hub, Croydon (where UBT has an operational office) in October 2023.
