The Southwark Climate Collective 

The Southwark Climate Collective is a free 12-month programme designed to support SMEs throughout Southwark in taking climate action. The initiative, funded through the UK Shared Prosperity Fund, will provide free, expert decarbonisation support for 160 businesses across Southwark to reduce carbon emissions, increase efficiency, and cut costs.

Limetrack is a disruptive food waste technology company that has developed the food waste equivalent of an electrical smart meter. Their digital platform and low-cost patented SMART wheelie bin effortlessly collect, analyse and repackage data to be valuable for waste producers, waste managers and commercial landlords, helping to unlock billions in lost revenue and savings from the waste sector.

Limetrack puts profit and planet first and aims to avoid more than 10M tonnes of CO2e annually. Their platform is used by local authorities, the NHS, national waste management companies and SME customers.

The Creative Digital Lab

A new £450,000 facility opening in October 2023, enabling local residents to up-skill in the creative-digital arena. The lab will host a virtual production studio for film and TV production, technology to enable gaming development, a post-production editing suite, multi-track audio recording facilities and training suites linked to the software used in the lab.

The Climate Habits programme boosts employee motivation for net zero by combining impartial information, digital tools, coach-led group work and behavioural psychology. The London Legacy Development Corporation acts as the planning authority for the area around and including Queen Elizabeth Olympic Park.

As the planning authority for Queen Elizabeth Olympic Park and surrounding area, they carry out all of the planning functions that a local planning authority would normally have responsibility for, such as approving or rejecting new developments, giving guidance to local developers, developing high level development plans and defining planning policy for development in the area through the Local Plan.
