Future of Work Summit 2026
08:00 - 15:00 | 5 June 2026 | Kingston University Business School, KT2 7JB
As businesses navigate AI adoption, hiring pressures and a shifting economic outlook, the challenge is less about identifying change and more about deciding how to respond to it in practice.
The Future of Work Summit 2026, hosted by Kingston Chamber of Commerce at Kingston University Business School, has been designed to address that gap. Taking place on Friday 5 June, the one-day event brings together 150+ business owners, senior leaders, HR and operations professionals, and educators from across South West London – all working through different versions of the same set of pressures.
Aligned with this year’s theme, “Navigating the Modern Workplace,” the #FOW2026 programme reflects the position many organisations now find themselves in – managing immediate decisions around hiring, investment and capability, while adjusting to longer-term shifts in skills, leadership and technology.
Attendees can expect:
- A Strategic Economic Outlook from Handelsbanken, covering inflation, labour markets and investment trends
- Roundtable discussions where attendees can raise specific challenges and compare approaches
- A peer learning session built around live problem-solving, in partnership with Kingston University
- Sessions on leadership, funding and workforce pressures, led by practitioners sharing recent decisions and outcomes
- A student innovation showcase, connecting businesses with emerging ideas and talent
