Shaping the future workforce through our South London Local Skills Improvement Plan.

Join us for the South London Skills Summit 2025, a pivotal event shaping the future of the South London Local Skills Improvement Plan (LSIP). This is your opportunity to be at the heart of South London’s evolving skills agenda – whether you’re an employer, educator, training provider, policymaker, or community leader.

This summit is designed to inform, inspire, and involve. You’ll gain valuable insights into progress made so far and have the chance to influence what comes next.

What is the LSIP, and why does it matter?

The Local Skills Improvement Plan (LSIP) is a government-backed strategy giving employers a central role in shaping skills provision. The London LSIP is led by BusinessLDN, and the South London annex is delivered by the South London Partnership, working closely with employers and stakeholders across the region.

The South London annex reflects input from over 60 local employers, 14 education providers, and 16 consultation workshops. It identifies five priority sectors, including construction, health and care, hospitality and retail, ICT and communications, and education, along with cross-cutting themes like digital, inclusion, green skills, and employer engagement.

Your voice will help ensure South London has the skilled, adaptable workforce needed to drive future economic growth.

  • Employers of all sizes and sectors
  • HR and talent leads
