Get ready to hack your way through the world of virtual production at our 6 & 7 March in-person event filled with creativity, collaboration, and cutting-edge equipment.

Croydon Creative Enterprise Zone (CEZ), University of the Arts London and Startup Croydon invite you to join them for a hands-on hackathon at Croydon’s Creative Digital Lab (near Wandle Park Tram Stop).

This FREE 2-day introductory course is perfect for Croydon-based creative freelancers and businesses interested in filmmaking, virtual production and Unreal Engine development.

Tailored to individuals of all levels, this course will cover the fundamentals of virtual production (VP), collaborating in teams, and developing a creative scene or sequence within a tight timeframe.

Ran alongside a series of courses throughout March, attendees can gain core creative skills and tools used in Live Streaming, TV and Film, Virtual Production, Gaming, Podcasting and Marketing.

Attendees will leave with:

· An understanding of a full VP workflow, from scene development to real-time rendering

· Hands-on experience with Mo-Sys camera tracking & LED wall integration

· Practical experience in kitbashing techniques for rapid environment creation

· Skills in virtual cinematography & real-time lighting

· Effective collaboration with technical teams, artists, and developers

· A final sequence produced using cutting-edge VP tools

About Croydon Startup’s Creative Digital Lab:

All tutors are working industry professionals and/or teaching in further and higher education.
