From Idea to Execution: A Workshop Series for Creative Entrepreneurs

Phase one of Kingston University’s new Business Accelerator Start-Up programme will kick off in March 2025 with their From Idea to Execution workshop series.

These free, two-hour workshops will be led by Business Growth Coach and Entrepreneurship Manager Dwain Reid, and are specially designed to support new and creative entrepreneurs, pre-startups, or early-stage businesses.

The workshop series will run throughout March 2025 with sessions each Wednesday morning from 09:30 – 11:30 at their Kingston University campus.

Registrations close on Monday 20 January 2025. However, places are limited, so register now to avoid disappointment!

**Participants who complete phase 1 of the programme will be given priority access to phase 2 which offers business consultancy from Kingston Business School’s MBA students**

 

Sessions:

5 March. Workshop 1: Ideation – From Concept to Opportunity

Kick off your entrepreneurial journey with an interactive workshop that helps you generate and refine innovative business ideas. Using tools like the Lean Model Canvas, you’ll learn to align your passions with market needs, develop actionable concepts, and lay the groundwork for success.

12 March. Workshop 2: Crafting Your Value Proposition

Your value proposition is the heart of your business. This session teaches you how to articulate what makes your product or service unique and why it matters to your customers. Learn to test and refine your proposition to resonate with your audience and position yourself for success.

19 March. Workshop 3: Identifying Customers and Users

Understanding your customers is key to success. This workshop equips you with tools to define your ideal audience, create detailed personas, and explore strategies to engage them effectively. By the end of the session, you’ll have identified your primary customers and started building connections.

26 March. Workshop 4: Systemisation for Startups – Streamline for Success

Running a business doesn’t have to be chaotic. This workshop shows you how to build systems that save time, reduce stress, and free you up to focus on growth. Learn how to delegate tasks effectively, create Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs), and use affordable tools to streamline your workflow.
